AMERICA is a 501c3 non-profit foundation whose mission
is to bring attention to the issues of energy conservation and sustainable design, and to educate the public about the benefits of developing alternative energy resources. The foundation was established by some of the talented and committed engineers and architects responsible for the successful "Greening of the White House" project. Their challenge was to retrofit and update our nation's most prominent house with the most efficient and reliable energy systems.
